Melody McGuire

Hi, I’m Melody, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner! I’m an Arkansas native and have called Northwest Arkansas home for many years. I’ve been in healthcare for more than 25 years, with experience across a wide range of specialties including labor and delivery, NICU, pediatrics, emergency medicine, urgent care, regenerative medicine, functional medicine, and aesthetics. I love combining my science brain with my artistic eye to help people look and feel their best.

Fun fact: I’m a dancer, choreographer, fashion lover, and unapologetic thrifting enthusiast. I love creating costumes, rhinestoning clothes, and finding creative ways to help people feel fabulous.

Outside of medicine, I love partner dancing, especially salsa and bachata. I’m also drawn to anything involving art, theater, and nature. I love wandering through art museums and experiencing all the different ways humans express what it means to be alive. I love having Sunday brunch with the squirrels on my deck or meeting blue herons in the streams alongside my trail walks.

My favorite Oum treatment is Tixel. I love that it sits at the intersection of science and aesthetics. Tixel uses controlled thermal energy to stimulate the skin’s natural healing response and encourage collagen remodeling. It can help improve the appearance of sun damage, fine lines, texture, pigmentation, and skin laxity. I love treatments where I can use my clinical knowledge to understand what’s happening beneath the surface while also using my artistic eye to create beautiful, natural-looking results.

My favorite thing about working with our clients is watching them become confident in the skin they’re in. I also love helping people discover ways to restore function and feel their very best, because beauty is more than skin deep.

One of my favorite things about Oum is our ability to look beyond a single symptom or aesthetic concern and create a personalized approach to overall wellness. From red light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen to PEMF, we have a thoughtfully curated combination of therapies that allows us to support the body from multiple angles. We use technology and objective data to take the guesswork out of care and help customize recommendations to each individual.
